The owner was enamoured with the work of a particular architect from Sardinia, Italy, and commissioned him to build her Australian home. It could be easily located in many of the rocky, watery place on the planet.
But as the home’s interior designer Meryl Hare says, “It doesn’t feel foreign. It feels like it belongs in the rocky heart of Sydney.”
